Cheerz Account and Data Deletion

Cheerz allows users to request deletion of their account and associated data.

How to request account deletion in the app

1. Open the Cheerz app.

2. Sign in to your account.

3. Go to Profile.

4. Open Settings.

5. Go to Danger Zone.

6. Tap Request account deletion.

7. Submit the request.

How to request account deletion without the app

If you cannot access the app, email us at support@cheerz.world from the email address linked to your Cheerz account.

Use the subject line:

Account deletion request

In the email, include:

- Your Cheerz username

- Your registered email address

- A short note saying you want your Cheerz account deleted

What data is deleted

When your account deletion request is processed, we delete or anonymize data associated with your Cheerz account, including:

- Profile information

- Profile picture

- Posts

- Reels

- Stories

- Comments

- Likes and saved items

- Follow and follow request data

- Push notification tokens

- Account-related personal information

Messages may be deleted or anonymized where possible, but copies may remain visible to other conversation participants if required for safety, abuse prevention, or service integrity.

What data may be kept

We may keep limited information for a short period if needed for:

- Security

- Fraud prevention

- Abuse investigation

- Legal compliance

- Backup recovery

Backup copies and technical logs may take up to 90 days to be fully removed from our systems.

Delete some data without deleting your account

Users can delete some content directly in the Cheerz app where available, such as posts, reels, stories, or profile information. You can also email support@cheerz.world to request deletion of specific account data without deleting your full account.
